SAP Fiori Architect

SAP Fiori Architects help employers design role-based SAP user experiences that are practical, secure and aligned to business processes. They bring control to Fiori launchpad design, app strategy, UX standards and adoption across SAP programmes.

What does a SAP Fiori Architect do?

An SAP Fiori Architect designs the user experience architecture for SAP landscapes, covering SAP Fiori launchpad, role-based app access, SAPUI5, Fiori elements, extensions and UX governance.

The role is commonly used on SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP and UX transformation programmes where employers need SAP screens, apps and journeys to support real users rather than simply replicate old SAP GUI processes.

  • Planning app strategy across standard Fiori apps, custom SAPUI5 apps and extensions
  • Aligning SAP UX decisions with business processes, security roles and mobile or web access needs
  • Reducing adoption risk by making SAP interfaces simpler, consistent and easier to use

  • Design role-based app access, spaces, pages, tiles, catalogues and groups across SAP Fiori launchpad
  • Work with UX designers, SAP developers, security teams, functional consultants, Basis teams and business users

  • Support SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Gateway, SAP Build and Fiori launchpad activity where relevant
  • Challenge poor UX decisions, unnecessary custom apps and designs that reduce adoption or increase support effort
  • Provide Fiori architecture assurance through design, build, testing, deployment and BAU transition
