An SAP Global Process Owner is accountable for a major end-to-end business process across multiple markets, sites or operating units, such as order to cash, procure to pay, record to report, plan to produce or hire to retire.

The role is commonly used on SAP S/4HANA, ECC, RISE with SAP and Signavio-led transformation where businesses need global process standards, clear decision ownership, strong controls and consistent adoption.

• Standardising SAP processes across countries, regions or business units
• Preparing for SAP S/4HANA, ECC migration or RISE with SAP transformation
• Creating global process ownership, governance and KPI control
• Reducing local variation where a common SAP template is needed
• Improving compliance, efficiency, adoption and process performance across the group

• Own the global design, governance and performance of a defined SAP end-to-end process
• Define global standards, process controls, KPIs, decision rights and improvement priorities
• Align regional process owners, business leaders, SAP teams and implementation partners
• Support SAP S/4HANA, ECC, RISE with SAP or Signavio-led process transformation activity
• Challenge unnecessary local variation while protecting genuine legal, tax or operational needs
• Review process impacts across design, testing, deployment, training and BAU handover
• Drive continuous improvement so the global SAP process remains controlled, adopted and useful

• Global SAP process ownership experience
• Strong understanding of one or more SAP end-to-end processes
• SAP S/4HANA, ECC, RISE with SAP or Signavio transformation awareness
• Process governance, standardisation, controls and KPI management
• Stakeholder management across regions, functions and senior business teams
• Ability to balance global template discipline with local business requirements
