An SAP IBP Consultant works with supply chain, planning, sales, finance and operational teams to design, configure and improve SAP Integrated Business Planning processes.
The role is commonly used across SAP IBP, SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain and planning transformation environments where employers need stronger forecasting, supply planning, inventory visibility, S&OP control and planning integration.

- Support areas such as demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, S&OP, response planning and scenario modelling
- Run fit-gap workshops, design reviews, process walkthroughs and planning test activity
- Work with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, integration, data, analytics and business planning teams
- Resolve defects, support integration testing, UAT, data validation, deployment and hypercare activity
- Help transition SAP IBP changes into BAU with clear documentation, user guidance and support handover
Key skills to look for
- SAP IBP consulting experience
- Strong understanding of demand, supply, inventory, S&OP or response planning processes
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain, SAP ECC, SAP APO or planning integration points
- Fit-gap, configuration, testing, data validation and support experience
- Ability to work with supply chain, finance, sales, analytics, integration and implementation teams
- Clear judgement on standard SAP IBP capability, planning process design, adoption and supportability
