An SAP Functional Analyst works with business users, SAP consultants and technical teams to understand requirements, analyse process issues and support changes within SAP systems.

The role is commonly used across SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SAP Fiori and BAU support environments where employers need practical functional knowledge, clear documentation, testing support and day-to-day issue analysis.

• Supporting SAP S/4HANA, ECC or Fiori users across project and BAU activity
• Gathering requirements and translating business issues into SAP change or support actions
• Assisting with configuration, testing, defect triage and user acceptance activity
• Improving documentation, process understanding and communication between users and SAP teams
• Adding functional analysis capacity without needing a senior consultant for every task

• Gather business requirements, process issues and user feedback across agreed SAP areas
• Analyse SAP process behaviour, configuration settings, defects and support tickets
• Document requirements, process flows, test scripts, functional notes and support guidance
• Support configuration, master data checks, testing, UAT, defect resolution and deployment readiness
• Work with SAP functional consultants, developers, testers, business users and support teams
• Track incidents, change requests, actions, risks and open points through to resolution
• Help improve SAP processes, user adoption and BAU support handover after change activity

• SAP functional analysis experience
• Understanding of one or more SAP modules or business process areas
• SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SAP Fiori or SAP support environment awareness
• Requirements gathering, testing, documentation and defect analysis
• Ability to work with business users, consultants and technical teams
• Clear communication, problem solving and attention to process detail
