What does a SAP Trainer do?

An SAP Trainer delivers practical SAP learning to end users, super users and business teams, usually working with training leads, change managers, process owners, functional consultants and implementation partners.

The role is commonly used across SAP S/4HANA, ECC, RISE with SAP, rollout and transformation programmes where employers need clear user training, better adoption, fewer support issues and stronger confidence before go-live.

  • Prepare role-based training materials, exercises, walkthroughs, quick reference guides, simulations and learner support notes
  • Work with training leads, functional consultants, change teams, process owners and implementation partners
  • Support SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SAP Fiori, SAP Enable Now and module-specific training activity where relevant
  • Capture learner feedback, confidence gaps, common questions, support themes and improvement actions
  • Assist with training schedules, attendance tracking, super user support, floorwalking and hypercare activity
  • Help users move from training into confident everyday use of SAP after go-live

Key skills to look for

  • SAP training delivery experience
  • Strong understanding of role-based SAP end-user training and business process learning
  • Knowledge of classroom training, virtual delivery, exercises, quick reference guides, simulations and learner support
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, Fiori, SAP Enable Now or specific SAP modules where relevant
  • Ability to work with business users, super users, process owners, change teams and functional consultants
  • Clear judgement on learner confidence, training clarity, adoption risk and practical delivery
