What does a SAP Enablement Lead do?

An SAP Enablement Lead plans and coordinates the enablement activity needed to help users understand and apply SAP in their day-to-day roles, working with change teams, training teams, process owners, functional consultants, super users and implementation partners.

The role is commonly used across SAP S/4HANA, ECC, RISE with SAP, rollout and optimisation programmes where employers need useful guidance, confident users, stronger adoption and practical support before and after go-live.

  • Track user feedback, adoption risks, support demand, content gaps, confidence levels and improvement actions
  • Help business teams move from initial awareness into confident everyday use of SAP

Key skills to look for

  • SAP enablement leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of user enablement, role-based learning, performance support and SAP adoption
  • Knowledge of SAP Enable Now, learning content, simulations, quick reference guides, super user networks and reinforcement
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, Fiori or specific SAP modules where relevant
  • Ability to work with business users, super users, process owners, change teams and functional consultants
  • Clear judgement on enablement quality, learner confidence, adoption risk and practical delivery
