What does a SAP Training Lead do?

An SAP Training Lead owns or coordinates the SAP training workstream, working with change managers, process owners, functional consultants, trainers, super users, communications teams and implementation partners.

The role is commonly used across SAP S/4HANA, ECC, RISE with SAP, rollout and transformation programmes where employers need clear training plans, useful learning materials, confident users and better adoption before and after go-live.

  • Support SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SAP Fiori, SAP Enable Now and module-specific training activity where relevant
  • Track training progress, completion rates, confidence gaps, support themes, risks and improvement actions
  • Help business teams move from awareness and training into confident everyday use of SAP

Key skills to look for

  • SAP training leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of role-based SAP learning, business process training and user adoption
  • Knowledge of training needs analysis, learning design, training materials, delivery planning and feedback tracking
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, Fiori, SAP Enable Now or specific SAP modules where relevant
  • Ability to work with business users, super users, process owners, change teams and functional consultants
  • Clear judgement on training quality, learner confidence, adoption risk and practical delivery
